Building one's dream home is quite complicated and requires many individuals of different disciplines to work together. Architects design the home on paper while surveyors create topographic surveys of the property for the engineers, who design site plans. The Surveyor then takes the site plans and physically marks the ground as to where the building will be located on the property (Construction Layout). Finally, the contractor begins the construction of the building.
